German Innovation Award 2022: Excellent Design
From practical orientation to usability and product aesthetics. The new cordless vacuum cleaner concept combines sophisticated technology with stylish looks and stands for design at the highest level. For this achievement, we were awarded with the German Design Award 2022 in the category 'Excellent Product Design - Household'. In addition to the design concept, product semantics, ergonomics, technical quality and functionality, production technology and sustainability, criteria such as degree of innovation, utility value, brand value and branding were also evaluated.
German Innovation Award 2021: Excellent concept
Generating added value with innovative technologies and creating application advantages - this is also what the new cordless vacuum cleaner concept stands for, which was awarded the German Innovation Award 2021 in the category 'Excellence in Business to Consumer - Household Appliances'. The German Innovation Award honours products and solutions that distinguish themselves primarily through user-centricity and added value compared to previous solutions. The criteria assessed included the level of innovation, user benefits and economic efficiency as well as location and employment potential, durability, market maturity, technical quality and function, materiality and synergy effects. Criteria such as social, ecological and economic sustainability, energy and resource use are also part of the evaluation.
German Brand Award 2020: Excellent brand quality
We invest as much heart and soul in the quality of our brand work as we do in the development and manufacture of our products. This commitment has now also been confirmed and rewarded by the official authorities: the Wessel Werk brand has received the German Brand Award. A high-calibre jury of experts from companies, business, consulting, agencies and the service sector chose us as "Winner" in the category "Excellent Brands - Consumer Electronics", thus recognising both our outstanding brand management and the consistent implementation of our brand strategy. In addition to independence and brand typicity, design quality and brand presence, the degree of innovation and economic success were also evaluated.
